China to conduct large-scale experiments in space station

China will carry out large-scale scientific experiments on space application projects after the completion of China's space station. "The space station can support space applications in and out of the cabin, and the payload can be adjusted in orbit," Lin Xiqiang, Deputy Director of the China Manned Space Engineering Office said at a media briefing on China's space projects on 26 September. "I believe the large-scale experiments will bring more important achievements with international influence and application value."

Tiangong-2, China's sole space lab orbiting the Earth, will safely leave its orbit under manual control after July 2019, Lin Xiqiang, Deputy Director of the China Manned Space Engineering Office said at a media briefing on China's space projects on 26 September.
