During the Global Space Exploration Conference GLEX, Xu Yansong, the Head of the Department for International Cooperation of the China National Space Administration (CNSA) told Russian news agency RIA Novosti that China and Russia are discussing options for cooperation in projects for the exploration of the Moon: "We are trying to cooperate on the lunar programme, because China has its missions Chang'e-4, Chang'e-5, Chang'e-6, Russia has Luna-26, Luna-27, Luna-28. These are very similar missions, and we are discussing with Russia possible cooperation within these projects at the system level or the overall stage."
