The 3^rd progress meeting on the implementing of the Letter of Intent Between the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) to Promote Regional Meteorological Cooperation and co-build the Belt-and-Road was held in Beijing on 19 November. The meeting reviewed the achieved results and it was hoped that both sides could harness cooperative platforms, consolidate cooperation in Fengyun meteorological satellites serving international users, advancing the implementation of WMO regional programmes and supporting seamless Earth system research, to make contributions to elevating the disaster preparedness capacity building of countries along Belt and Road.
