The Heads of the Russian space agency Roscosmos, Oleg Ostapenko and the Head of China’s Satellite Navigation Office, Ran Chengqi held a meeting on 3 September in Beijing to discuss close cooperation on their respective national navigation systems. Both countries expressed already earlier their wish to built ground stations on each other's territories.
