By the end of September, the commercial space community from China and abroad will meet for the biggest private space conference in Wuhan.

China’s private space companies are going to gather for the world biggest private space conference

After the enormous success of the last years edition, the organising committee is in the middle of preparing the 4th China (International) Commercial Aerospace Forum CCAF, which will take place from 26 to 28 September in Wuhan International Expo Centre.
For the first time and because of the increasing interest, the event will be stretched over 3 days. The first two days will be reserved for presentations by national and international space experts. The conference will be accompanied by a 5000 m2 exhibition which will be open all three days: from 26 to 28 September.

Hainan province ready to create Russia-China space cooperation center

The government of the southern Chinese province of Hainan is inviting Russian agencies, enterprises and higher educational institutions to cooperation in the sphere of aviation and space exploration, Governor Shen Xiaoming told TASS on 11 July. The regional authorities are ready to create a specialized Russian-Chinese center on the province’s territory, the governor said: "If Russian higher educational establishments, research centers, R&D institutes and enterprises operating in the sphere of cosmonautics and aviation are ready to cooperate with us and, given a large number of projects, we are ready to create a joint China-Russia center for cooperation in space and aviation technologies. We are ready to allocate a land site for creating such a cente."

Russia, China to add lunar projects to joint space cooperation programme

The programme of Russian-Chinese cooperation in outer space for 2018-2022 will be supplemented with projects related to the Moon’s exploration, the press office of Russia’s State Space Corporation Roscosmos said on 11 July. This decision was made at a session of the joint working group of the two countries on cooperation in outer space. "During the session, the Russian and Chinese sides discussed the implementation of bilateral cooperation in outer space for 2018-2022, as a result of which a joint decision was made to supplement this cooperation program with the projects related to the study and exploration of the Moon."
