China plans to launch the Long March-5B carrier rocket for the first time around June next year, according to China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CAST) on 19 March. The new generation of carrier rocket, the Long March-5B, has entered the model testing phase in preparation for China’s space station missions. During the test phase, the core module of the space station will be fully equipped and assembled and other related large-scale joint tests on the ground will be implemented step by step.
